UN/CEFACT announces formal approval and release of CCTS V3.0
UN/CEFACT announces availability of CCTS V3.0 for general release
The original core components technical specification, now in V3.
New release is cleaner and more coherent and base types better defined. Although the press release says "neutral model" in reality there is alignment to how W3C Schema enables the core concepts and types to be implemented.
The CCTS Version 3.0 is available from the UNECE website at: http://www.unece.org/cefact/codesfortrade/CCTS/CCTS-Version3.pdf
The CCTS Data Type Catalogue Version 3.0 is available from the UNECE website at: http://www.unece.org/cefact/codesfortrade/CCTS/CCTS-DataTypeCatalogueVersion3p0.pdf
These documents provide much detail and overall knowledge that is applicable for practitioners wishing to understand these aspects of data modelling.
